Description
The tour starts with a panoramic tour through the city of Salalah and a visit to the Museum of the Land of Frankincense. We will take the road that crosses the mountain and takes to a dramatically different environment: the pre-desertic plateau of the Nejd and the great desert of Rub al Khali. We will reach our Bedouin camp where we will be welcomed to experience a traditional dinner around the fire, and the magic of a night in the desert sleeping in a traditional Bedouin tent. We will reach the coast at the stunning Fazayah Beach nestled between the mountain cliffs. We will drive to east where the imposing Jabal Samhan meets the Ocean by the town of Mirbat. A Tour for the nature lovers that will experience first-hand the most interesting archaeological sites and historical locations of the region.
Route
The route starts from Salalah, and crosses the Dhofari Mountain Range to reach the dunes of the Rub al Khali. On the way back to the coast the road runs through the Nejd Plateau. And from Salalah to Mirbat, on the Jebal Samhan.
